I have considered this question quite considerably, and I find that NASA engineers, given the American funds being wasted on the “Islamic Defense” in Iraq instead, could well discover the “next move” in outer space propulsion engines, such as the “Plasma Engine”.
Next step: “Warp Drive”.

So, what’s keeping you? The vast expenditures defending someone who would easily behead you as an “Infidel”?
