I have taught two year olds dance. Wait till she is three or four. In the meantime get her into any music or movement classes at your park district.Answer by dre

As a dance teacher, I say definitely wait until she’s at the very least three. Preferably, wait until she’s four, but as long as she is mature enough, three is a decent age. I’ve had two-year-olds in class, and it is difficult for them as well as the teacher. It is really hard to keep the attention of most kids, especially that young. And many times they don’t learn as much as they would if they just waited another year. 🙂
Best of luck to her when she does start dancing!!Answer by dancexstardom3

you could start her at that age – when they’re that young usually dance studios offer classes for the toddlers and moms together (so you’re basically volunteering to dance too, you know). i didn’t start till i was 6 but i used to dance before then – i had no formal training before 6 but i danced and did my own thing in front of my family (it’s funny to watch the videos of me, lol) u could go to ur local dance studio and start her now if u want. if u want her to go to a really good ballet school (way more expensive than local dance studio but i went to a really good school) then she probably won’t be able to start until like five. check the school policy tho.Answer by David
I asked my wife how she would answer this question because she started ballet when she was 5 years old and she continues to dance ballet in theaters and she teaches ballet. Her answer; “after they are potty trained”.Answer by K J
probably at age 3. she will grow more by then and will be more mature to handle the fact that their mom is leaving them at the class and by 3 they will be able to have good movement
