make or buy a stand for both the wheels and put something touching the back wheel for resistance.
Just buy a cheap trainer off of Craigslist or make sure that someone records you when you try to make one so you can get the money from AFV America’s Funniest Videos.Answer by Bob A
Check the local ebay or Craig’s list for a used trainer. You can buy a new Bell Motivator for around $ 80.

Answer by Yon GamarraSorry man I can’t figure out how to build a trainer out of common household junk without using a welder or some machining. You will have to buy one, check Goodwill, they may have used stationary bikes there.Answer by mtrlbiker
Second hand trainers can be found if you look. I bought one a few years ago for only $ 25. You could not possibly build one yourself for that little money. Trainers have to be very strongly built to hold the bike without breaking it, and also have to provide resistance to simulate riding on the road. You could not build one yourself without welding equipment and a lot of special tools.Answer by chilliking123
making a trainer won’t be easy. i’d just save up and buy a decent one…
