Ally: How to convince extremely stubborn Dad to get a dog?
My dad is extremely stubborn dad! If we mention the dog, he won’t give us a minute. My mom likes the idea and is thinking about it but we just need my Dad’s consent. The worst part- he won’t even give us a reason for not getting a dog. My brother and I have everything planned and prepared from Breeders to research and even dog godparents. Any advice on how to get his attention and convince him to get this dog?
He had a dog when he was a kid too.

He doesn’t like dogs. When you move out, the dog is staying with your parents. Wait until you have your own place to live and the finances to support one.
Your dad isn’t the only stubborn one. I can think of two kids who refuse to do the mature thing and accept the word no….
Anyway, what you can do in the meantime is volunteer at shelters. Get involved in rescue, and see why there’s such a desperate need for people to rescue.

talk with your dad and let him know that you will assume all the responsibilities of taking care of a dog
