Jack: How should I introduce my wife to makeup and things like girly shoes and accessories ?
My wife is a girl from Vietnam and she doesn’t wear these things and she is a girl chosen by mother and aunt in an arranged marriage. I was having trouble getting a girlfriend so because I’m Vietnamese, I was able to marry a girl from Vietnam. I want to introduce my wife to makeup and things like girly shoes and accessories. I want my wife to wear shoes that makes her look girly along with other things like makeup and handbags or purses. How should I introduce her to these things ??? Can anyone please help me out ???

take her dress shopping… trust me it won’t take long
Show her some fashion magazines
Take her out and let her observe what other women wear
Get some of your women friends or people you know to help her

well where do u live?
if you still live in the area she grew up in its gona be hard to get her to wear that stuff.
now if you lived somewhere elese where women do dress like that (for example America) then you could show her how people dress around there and that would probibly get her interested.
It’s really up to her what she wants to wear not yours, so you shouldn’t say anything. If she isn’t wearing makeup it is because she is happy with her appearance and she isn’t dressing herself to look good for you!Answer by Monfri
so easy. something you can do it firstly. for example buy beautiful shoes and accessories for your wife, that must be made your wife happy. of course, give them as a surprise to your wife, have a try, enjoy it.

I agree with Sarah. You are supposed to marry someone because you love them , or at least can see yourself loving them (in the case of arranged marriage). When you were introduced to her did you not see her appearance as an issue at that time? You probably shouldn’t have married her if you didn’t like what you see.
On the other hand, most women do like these types of things so perhaps she does want to get more involved in fashion. Does she have money she is able to utilize? or are u keepin her at home to run the house with no pocket money for herself hmmm??
Look, if she wants to go that way that she will. you could take her shopping and mention that something would look really beautiful on her, but make sure you aren’t pushy.. remember she is your wife and she is ok as she is.
