ask about the fees first. if you think it’s quite reasonable and within your budget, ask your parents. they might allow you to join
if the fee is too expensive, look for a cheaper one, then only you ask your parents!

Attend Chinese dance classes. Even if you feel weird about it, tell them anyway. They are your family, i don’t think they will love u less or think less of you if you love chinese dance. They might comment on it or say something that might discourage you. i think that’s the worse that they might do but hey, its something subjective, There is nothing wrong if you like it. If you like Chinese dance, you like it, they cannot argue with that even if they would think its weird, funny or ridiculous. I guess if you really like it, you’ll find ways to learn it even if there is a possibility of embarassing yourself. Take courage and reach for your dreams. Good luck.Answer by tiffalicious_911
Just be straightforward. Trust me.Answer by mom2karl
It’s not a crime to dance. Your dance routine should start with this single step: Tell your parents about your passion for dance and your plan to attend dancing classes. If they object to your taking classes because of valid reasons, find a workaround wherein you will be able to fulfill their wishes while living your dream to dance. Swing it!Answer by lesi
do your research, find a studio you want to go to… get the prices, and approach your parents about it…
if you love dance, go about it headstrong, it is good to be passionate bout what you do!
