PezBoy: How much should I give my brother for his wedding?
I am going to my brother’s wedding in a couple weeks, and I am the best man. We are both in our 20s. I have no clue what is the appropriate amount of cash to give him? I have had my father and mother tell me different amounts. Any clue?? It’s a fancy wedding.

It depends on what you can afford. $ 100 minimum if you have it.
it depends on your income. Etiquette says your wedding gift should cover your cost of dinner. so if there paying 150 per person on food your gift should be at least that. if u bring a date its could cover both of you.Answer by Future Mrs. Monroe ♥
Previous Poster is right, the rule of thumb is to spend whatever you think the meal cost, but it can also depend on how well you know them (you know your brother pretty well, so you should give a little more), and how financially sound you are. If you can afford it, give him a little more, if not, do what you can.
Hope this helps!
