trig really isn’t that hard. u don’t even have to know geom. too well to do it. i am in middle school and i can do it.

Answer by MKHCB .
everything about triangels.
expecially sin, cos, and tan.
trust me all through trig and cal, that is the major topic.
Beleive me I am in cal 3, and i am still in high school.

Answer by AvO19
trig, as u know, is an advance form of geo.
but trig is usually tought in precalc or calculus, but still keep ur geometry sharp, and also ur algebra.

Answer by Nicky G
actualy some parts of trigonometry are integrated into geometry. have you ever heard of the Law of Sines. it is something you use on triangles so that you can have 3 measurements of a triangle and find the other 3. but these measurements have to either be 2 sides and one angle, or 2 angles and one side. otherwise you are no longer working with regular geometry but full blown trig.

I don’t know about anywhere else, but in GA this is what you gotta do:

Algebra I
Geometry
Algebra II

Then you can choose between any of the following three choices:

Algebra III (for losers who failed)
Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry (for average grades)
Precalculus (for those annoying people who are good at everything)

Answer by X.L.
um i’d say just remember what a triangle is.

Answer by calpal2001
1 year of Algebra
1 year of Geometry

You will not need a lot of geometry to go into trig. Trig is mainly the study of triangles, so all the formulas rules you know about angles and triangles from geometry should be somewhat familiar in your mind. You will be introduced to a few new topics like the trig functions of Sine, Cosine, and tangent, along with the Law of Sines and Law of Cosines.

If you know most of the basics from Geometry and above average memory of triangles, youll do fine in Trig especially if you have a good teacher who can explain the new topics while refrshing the old geometry topics.
