How much does a lip piercing hurt compare to a rook or tragus piercing?

englishgurl: How much does a lip piercing hurt compare to a rook or tragus piercing?
I had my rook done yesterday, and my tragus done last week. My tragus didn’t hurt at all, and my rook was a tiny bit worse, but neither really hurt at all. I want my lip done, but am scared it will hurt, does anyone have a lip piercing & a tragus and/or rook piercing?

I had my lip pierced and still have a tragus pierced and i found the tragus to be a LOT worse then the lip. If you didn’t find the tragus to be painful then you should be fine getting your lip done.

Though your unique pain tolerance will play a factor here, in anyone being able to describe to you exactly how much it will hurt, lip tissue is soft tissue. The tragus and rook is cartilage. In general, soft tissue piercings tend to hurt less than cartilage.

Lip hurts less then the rook. It is a small sharp pain and you may find it throbs for the day.
