Xavier Renteria: How much does a piercing at a tattoo/piercing parlor usually cost?
Im planning on getting my ears pierced. Nothing fancy just one piercing per ear on the lobe. I heard the best places to go are tattoo shops/piercing parlors because they use a hollow needle instead of the piercing gun. If I were to get both of my ears pierced, with the purchase of the earrings and the cleaning supplies how much do you roughly think it would cost? Also do they have to be stater studs or whatever, or can you use something else. I have some fake gauges that I want to wear! Thanks!

Good for you on making the decision to get your ears pierced properly with a needle!! The average price range for a basic piercing at most shops in my area is $ 35-$ 55. Ear lobe piercings are basic piercings. So, multiply that by two and you’ve got $ 70-$ 110 for a pair of ear piercings with basic aftercare (packet of non iodized sea salt). There *are* a lot of shops who will run you a better price when getting your lobes done though (I’ve seen $ 50-$ 60 offered at some places.)
The best thing to do is contact shops in your area to get a price range…or even look in local papers or online for “buy one get one” deals.
As for jewelry…the price will be the same whether you bring in your own jewelry or not…and if your jewelry can’t be autoclaved, any good piercer will tell you to wait until your lobes have healed to wear your own jewelry anyway.

I honestly think it depends where you go to get it done. Each store has their own prices and different materials. I would say that usually, it costs about $ 30-60 dollar. When I got mine done at a parlor it was roughly $ 40 dollars. Hope this helps, I’m sure you’ll look great with your ears done! c:
It totally depends on the cost of tattoo artist which he charge against a tattoo. As it is very difficult to judge any specific amount because the rate varies from state to state.Answer by ‹(•¿•)›Bellydancer‹(•¿•)›
