Harvard21: How much does a helix piercing cost?
I am a 15 year old girl, planning on getting my cartilage (helix) pierced. I already have approval from my parents. I am planning on getting my helix pierced by needle, since I heard using the gun could shatter the cartilage. If I were to purchase a regular stud, how much would the total cost of getting the piercing cost? (for example if I were to go to a place such as piercing pagoda)

u have to be 18 i think and in my suggestion i wouldn’t get helix piercing (ur problem thinking am an adult but am not am just 15-16) but if u still want get it its 20-30 dollars depending on where you go and the location of where it is.
if you live in america then you have to be with a parent to get it pierced if you’re under 18.
if you live in the UK then you have to be 16 to get it done with no parents.
if you dont live in those two states then search up the piercing laws in your area on google or something or find a piercing place and give them a call and ask.
you dont have to supply your own jewelry to get it done, as the price includes the jewelry and the actual piercing and sometimes the price varies from a ring to a stud, it depends on personal preference.
i personally would go for a stud as when it is healed it is a lot more easier to remove.
in England, where I go, it costs around £15, regardless of jewelry x
Answer by crazzy_nascar_chickYou can’t have your ear pierced with a needle at a place like piercing pagoda. You have to go to a professional body piercing shop. You also cannot buy a regular stud and tell them to put it in. You have to pick out jewelry from the selection of appropriate starter jewelry that your piercer has in the shop. It’s the only way to ensure the quality.
But jewelry plus piercing, shouldn’t be any more than $ 50. Probably closer to $ 35 or $ 40. And don’t forget your consenting parent!
Answer by Mau LoaIt depends on the place you go to because the prices really vary but usually around 25-35$
