precious1_u_luv: How many levels are there in gymnastics, and at what level does someone become elite?
My daughter is 4 and has been doing gymnastics for about a year, and I was just wondering how many levels there are. Im not even sure what level my daughter is at right now, but she is in an advanced beginning class.

im pretty sure there are 14 or so levels of gymnastics.
i think once you pass level 10, you are an elite gymnast.
i’m not completely sure though.

if it works the same everywhere (i am in Australia) it is something like this
Pre-levels
level 1
level 2
level 3
level 4
level 5
level 6
level 7 (i think you have optional routines at level 7 where you choreograph them with your coach
level 8
level 9
level 10
Elite
Normally people will do recreational first which helps them learn the basics
Answer by Xx_Gymnastics_xXlevels 1 to 6 are normally without a great deal of dance or movement. Once at level 7 the gymnast and coach work togethere to chorograph personal routines. 7-9 progresses to harder skills and then once at level 10 you are an elite. You then can try out for the national senior team.
Here is a level 1 meet so you get the idea of level your daughter is at
Answer by Mikaela TIt goes from Level 1 to 10 then Elite. Usually, Beginner is the same as level 1. or Bronze is the same as level 1…
hope this helps.
Answer by gymnastsalThere is level 1-6, which is compulsory which means that they all have to do the same routines. levels 7-10 become more difficult and you may do whatever routine you want but you have to have certain requirements met.
