How many children/ grandchildren do you have, more single child households?

Camellia: How many children/ grandchildren do you have, more single child households?
I have 5 sons and 4 grandchildren. However, my parents had only one child because of their age difference. Have you known of more single child households, or those with two or more children?

I am married, 40 years old & have NO children. I have a wonderful life, I volunteer & help out local children who are ignored or abuse by their parents who have multiple children they can’t take care of.

I think it is dispicable for people to have children they do not have the time, energy or money to raise well in our society.

So my NO CHILD household is happy, productive and helpful – and I am not adding to the population glut that our planet is struggling under. If I were to have a “need” for my own child, I would adopt and think others should too – until we are at a point where there are no more unwanted childrend & then parents can start to birth their own again – well planned and WANTED children.

Hope that answered you – a little off topic – but showing that children do not have to be the center of a household.

Hi, Sis. I have a son and a daughter. my son has two sons and my daughter has one daughter. I would say I’ve known more multi-child families. Personally, I have five brothers and sisters. BTW, I don’t recommend anyone have that many!
