Go Tigers!: How long will a motorcycle battery last without being charged?
I’ve got a racing style go kart and i want to put lights on it. But the motor does not have a charger coil. Im thinking of putting a motorcycle battery on it and just recharging it after every ride. I would be running two small running lights off the battery. How long will it last without losing brightness of the lights?

your best bet is to use 5 watt bulbs ,but your battery should last you hours.
Depends on the wattage of the bulbs and the amp hour capacity of the battery. But i would feel safe sayig a couple hours at least if they are small bulbs, and if they are head light bulbs maybe 30min to an hour at most.Answer by Dating Coach
At least 4 hours.
(Have fun).
Answer by Mark SUsing a standard deep cycle sealed lead acid battery, typically 8 amp hour, and a 30 watts of lights (about standard for a quad), you should get about 3 hours of light between charges. Use only one of the lights (15W) and you’ll get around 6 or 7 hours.
