How long does it take to process a fiancee visa for the USA?

YO!: How long does it take to process a fiancee visa for the USA?
I’m from the UK, and am in a relationship with a man from the USA. I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice please?

What is the normal time you have to wait for the government to file/process your visa? Say, if all the forms were correct, and everything was in order, how long would it take until I got one?

Also, would I need to stay in my own country the whole time or could I come back to America and stay with my fiancee?

It varies. 6 – 8 months is the average processing time.

8 to 12 months and no, you cannot come to the USA to visit and wait.
