X. Steel: Can I file an adjustment of status for fiancee after her 6 month waiver expires?
My fiancee is canadian and i am U.S. born. We were wondering if we can file a short time after her visitation expires. will that damage our chances of her to remain here?

Just marry her and apply for a green card. It’s the easiest, and most honest way.
You need to contact USCIS asap. Extensions can be given bet there needs to be a good reason. Not getting the extension will cause problems when your fiance applies for her green card.Answer by Chuckles
Unless you want to spend a lot more money on an immigration lawyer, file before her 6 months allowed in the US is over.Answer by David

You cannot file for her as a fiancee, but if you are married, then she can apply for adjustment of status, if she is otherwise eligible.
It’s not recommended to wait until she is out of status.
