drew: How long does it take Santa Clause to travel all over the world and deliver presents?
Assumeing there were no time zones, how long would it take Santa Clause to go to every house in the world with children and deliver presents? Lets say from 7:00pm to 7:00am the next day, 12 hrs?

Answer by GenBut see, you can’t take out time zones because they do exist and I’m sure St Nick would use them to his best advantage and in order for all kids to wake up on Christmas morning with their presents already delivered, he would have to start in Tonga, then through all the little islands, through New Zealand, Australia, etc. There’s no sense in him starting in America, for instance, if America is 12 or so hours behind other countries. If you’re asking total travel time in hours, I’d say closer to 24. There are a lot of kids in the world.Answer by whatevbookwrm687

I would say 24 hours as he would follow the night around the world, starting in New Zealand and working his way round.
One way to check would be to go to the NORAD santa tracking website on Christmas Eve and see how long it takes him.
Answer by Robert Rwell that all depends on how often he stops off for a beer!
