: Is it rude to wish a “Happy new fear(s)!” instead of “Happy new year!” to people?
Because, based on statistical progression of events, I foresee greater destruction next year (no, this does not include that 21/12/2012 hullabaloo).
Is it bad of me to tell the truth, that next year will not be a happy year?
