Explosion: How does the Neopets Stock Market fluctuate?
It’s not randomized, so don’t say that.
I’ve hypothesized that it relates to the number of shares bought and sold (as the actual market), and also to something else (i.e. certain games played more or less, or maybe areas of the world visited more or less).
More info: one of my accounts was forever banned based on “attempted inflation of the stock market” after i tried to influence people to buy one stock on the message boards, thereby proving it is at least partially based on stock sales.

when people sell their stocks the price on the item reduces, the longer people go without selling it, the higher the prices rise
