Stephanie P: How do you word a wedding invitation if the bride’s parents are divorced but not remarried?
Both sets of parents (bride’s parents and grooms parents) are hosting the wedding, so both need to be included on the invitation. The bride’s parents are divorced but not remarried and the groom’s parents are married.

Hi… Here’s how to word the invitation:

Mrs. Shelly Brown Smith (MOB’s first name, maiden name, married name) or: Ms. Shelley Lynn Jones (if she’s kept her maiden name), or: Ms. Shelley Lynn Smith (alternative if she’s kept her married name)
Mr. Charles Adam Smith (FOB. The word “and” is not used between the names of the MOB and FOB, since “and” is a joining word signifying marriage.
