✰Sp!cySAMeezy✰ {BackUp}: How do you wash delicate lingerie from Victoria’s Secret without snagging the fabric?
Since moving from my parents house, it seems that when I do laundry my negligee’s and lace bra’s/panties seem to get snagged and pulled. I don’t want to have to constantly spend $ 50.00 or so on a new bra or lingerie set. What are some way’s to keep your delicates clean and in great shape? also what laundry detergent would be best?

They sell mesh bags specifically for delicates. You can find one at Target or someplace like that in the laundry aisle.
Otherwise, hand wash them with Woolite.

Answer by santobugitoHand wash, or get a lingerie bag and wash on delicate. The bags aren’t expensive. Also, don’t put them in the dryer.
You can go with woolite, or baby detergent, like Ivory Snow.Answer by Sarah S
I found that you can just use regular laundry detergent. (I use Tide with Downy powder myself) and just put it on the permanent press cycle in the washing machine. But here’s the thing, DO NOT DRY THEM! They can make them all twisted and scrunched, and then when you wash them next time it wears down on the threads and that’s how they can get snagged and twisted and torn.
Hang your bras and things up on hangers after washing. You’ll have to wait for them to dry, but it’s better than spending fifty bucks on a new set. If that doesn’t work, the only thing I have left to say would be to wash them gently by hand.
Answer by AngelmaidenYou need to purchase a bra buddy; it’s a plastic ball that you put your bras in , it works fantastic and keeps my bras in good shape. You also need to purchase several mesh bags in different sizes according to the size of the article you want to wash. Always make sure all buttons are buttoned, zippers zipped, snaps snapped, ect. before putting articles in mesh bags. Do not overload mesh bags, articles need space to get clean.Warm water, cool rinse and gentle cycle only.
You can use woolite,oxi-wash,dreft or ivory snow.Answer by Don
Tell your boyfriend to be more gentle. 🙂Answer by [email protected]
I believe there is a mesh bag you can buy to put your delicates in to wash. However, I put mine inside a pillow case that I added a zipper to on one end .. it works great. The hardest part was adding the zipper. Also, I never put underwire bras in the dryer. Let them dry on a hanger. The metal will bend if it gets too warmAnswer by Rosanna O
i would highly recommend wash them by hand, last time i put a VA bra in my washer the cups got bent out of shape. just wash it in sink and throw it over the shower rod to dry. otherwise buy a lingerie bag, VA sells them here:https://www2.victoriassecret.com/commerce/onlineProductDisplay.vs?namespace=productDisplay&origin=onlineProductDisplay.jsp&event=display&prnbr=CK-166178&cgname=OSKEYPTYZZZ&rfnbr=5282Answer by The New Sheriff In Town
Hi.
Um Vic Secret is kinda the only place I shop and kinda have a contract with, but I suggest if ya have to put them in the washer use a mesh bag and don’t wash with anything else and check all the settings, and use warm wash, cold rinse mabye.
I pretty much use Woolite. I do a lot of intimates laundry every week. Oh I also never put them in the dryer. I hang all mine or lay them over the big screen TV I never use.
