How do you “unhide” a folder on your computer?

KB: How do you “unhide” a folder on your computer?
I am trying to download a powerpoint template to use in my 2007 MS PPT. I downloaded the file and now I have to extract it to another place in order to use it but it says I have to “Unhide” the Application Data folder since it’s not showing on my list. HELP?!?
