How do you teach a dog to say, “I love you”?

Gansito Boy To The Rescue!: How do you teach a dog to say, “I love you”?
My dog know’s alot of tricks including “speak” and I want to actually teach him to say a phrase. I have a toy/teacup poodle and he’s very easy to train as he knows at least 10 different tricks. Although he is five years old it usually only takes him a couple weeks or so to catch on.

Any ideas on how to go about teaching him to say a simple phrase like, “I love you”?

i have tried but never been able to teach a dog to do this. it is more like doing something that will get them to bark or whine in the same syllables as that.

Answer by Doogle
Dogs usually do not have the abilities to speak in English. Sorry to break your dreams.

Answer by angelik976
Poodles are very intelligent but no matter how much you train your dog it just biologically can’t speak words. The voice boxes are totally different. You may get him to bark or howl which can resemble ‘I love you’ but as for saying it, impossible, no matter how intelligent the dog is.

Answer by M D
They already say it to us, every day 😉

Answer by animaluver
say the phrase as much to him as possible and tell him to say “i love you”

Answer by Kiss Me Deadly
Everytime he wags from head to tail in your presence, “I LOVE YOU” is exactly what he’s saying … he can’t put it into words, of course … I hope you won’t make this into a trick … he loves you, I promise.
