How do you sing Avril’s opening to “Things I’ll Never Say”?

karaddd48: How do you sing Avril’s opening to “Things I’ll Never Say”?
How in the world do you sing the “laddadaadadaala”‘s at the beginning of the song? I keep flipping into airy head voice, when I think it should sound almost like a yodel, or a mixture of headvoice and chest voice.

The first note on “la” is really hard to find when starting the song.
