How do you “scrunch” hair to make it wavy?

Mia: How do you “scrunch” hair to make it wavy?
Hi…I’ve heard some kids talking about “scrunching” at my school. Isn’t it to make your hair wavy when you wear it down? What is it and how do you do it?

I’m not really sure what the term means, but if you want wavy hair, put it in a bun when it’s wet and let it dry like that. It should have the same effect as “scrunching”

wash your hair, and lightly dry, while it is still damp, put a big handful of mousse in you hair and sort of squeeze it upwards (scrunching!)
then apply hairspray to keep the waves in place 🙂
good luck :)x

So basically you use mouse or curl spray/gel or some product for wavy or curly hair, and you put it in your hair and you literally do scrunch it and hope when it dries it stays the same texture. (scrunching doesn’t work for me, as my hair is too straight for it.) So try it out and make sure it looks good before you go to school and end up with your hair looking disastrous at the end of the day.

1ST U SHOULD HAVE SOME WAVE IN U’RE HAIR OR IT WILL LOOK GROSS WHEN U’RE DONE. BUT AFTER U WASH U’RE HAIR WHILE ITS FRESHLY WET PUT SOME REALLY STRONG MOUSE ON IT THEN GET SOME SCRUNCH SPRAY I RECOMMEND BEYOND THE ZONE IN A BIG PURPLE BOTTLE (U CAN GET IT AT SALLY’S) AND WHILE U’RE DRYING U’RE HAIR HOLD IT IN SECTIONS CLOSE TO U’RE HEAD U CAN STOP AND ADD MORE SPRAY THROUGHOUT THE DRYING PROCESS…..AND THAT LINK IS EXACTLY WHAT U DON’T WANT U’RE HAIR TO LOOK LIKE TRUST ME!!

Wash your hair and braid it when it is wet , keep it for 5 – 6 hours

open the braid and u will get nice sexy waves

then apply a hair spray to hold ur hair
