I used just the regular easter egg tablets for coloring and my 6 yr old decided to use his hands in the blue! How do we get it off?? Please only serious answers.

Try hand sanitizer. It works wonders at getting ink pen off skin, it might work for dye. If not, just let it go away on its own…

A loofah or other scrubber is often quite helpful in removing dye from the skin, simply by removing the dyed skin cells.Answer by lisanlauren

it is a very silly question you buy it at the store for them or give them money and let grandparents give it to themAnswer by kmm_mdm
I would think regular soap and water would workAnswer by dizemini
ok, admittedly, I was coloring eggs this year. Must have forgotten how much it stains, because my fingers have dye on them too. I used a ton in each color to make them really deep colors, …. now, my hands are regretting that.
I used veggie oil and salt, scrub until there is more salt than oil, then keep scrubbing. (it won’t hurt your skin or your kids). Have them sing a song or two while they scrub or Somethin.. just keep them scrubbing. when you are done, rince off the salt and the olive oil. My skin is so softand the cuticles are perfect from the exfoliation. I still have a little dye under my nails, so I will try again in a few hours and find a nail salon tomorrow before they all close.
Answer by some chickMy son dunked both hands in every color — repeatedly — and it all came off in the tub, with no scrubbing required. We used the regular tablets, too.
Don’t stress it, and don’t go crazy trying to scrub him clean. The dye isn’t hurting him any, and if it doesn’t come off, he’ll have lasting proof you were having a good time together!Answer by MammaOf2
I’d recommend just waiting, and washing hands and bathing as normal. My son’s hands are very colorful this evening too!Answer by diskdoctor007
Perhaps diluted Oxyclean? It does wonders for all kinds of stains and isn’t too harsh.
I’ve used it lots with bare hands and never had any irritation.
If you don’t get this message soon, at least you’ll be decorated for Easter Sunday Services 🙂
Good luck!
