thefam_07: how do I get easter egg coloring out of my favorite light colored jeans? they’ve already been soaked & washed?
I was coloring easter eggs when i knocked over the pink coloring and it spilled all over the front of my jeans. (my favorite jeans) they were soaking in freezing water and my boyfriend decided to wash them before i could treat the stain with something. I was thinking about taking them to the cleaners but i figured i would try some suggestions here first!

did u try Sodium bicarbonate on the stain?Answer by ColtsGal
Try pouring Peroxide on them. Once a blue highlighter leaked all over my favorite white sweater, and a woman at work told me to put peroxide on it, and it came right out.
Otherwise maybe put some oxy powder directly on it.
Answer by noitallyou may be stuck with the stain as jeans are cotton, which absorbs dyes very well. if the jeans are white, just bleach them. otherwise you’re pretty well stuck with the new color. try spilling it all over in a pattern so it looks like you did it on purpose.Answer by donna d
try shout stain remover see if that helps i am sure it will or wash them again in oxyclean.Answer by lennie
Take a few squirts of dawn dish washing detergent and 4 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol, First put 2 tbs of alcohol and let it soak into the fabric, then add the dawn and gently rub where the stain is. wait about 10 Min’s. and then rinse. Add the remaining alcohol ,wait and then rinse. This should do it/
