We’ve all been in this situation. You’re at work, finishing a project, and there’s this co-worker that just gets under your skin. They’re too loud, they won’t stop talking, they just won’t shut up. What do you do?

are you a welder by any chance. Tell them that you cant concentrate, and that this job is more important to you than idle chit-chat.

You just have to say”Shush, I cant concentrate and I have to get this finished. Interesting stories need to be saved for after-work, or we will never get anything done”. That implies that co-worker is actually ‘interesting’!
