Thinh Nguyen: How do I transport this motorcycle after buying it without a motorcycle license?
I’m getting my motorcycle license next month. I found this used bike that is almost perfect. I really want it, but I don’t know how to transport it. Would it fit on a back of a truck?

Yep, back of a pickup truck or trailer is ideal. Don’t forget to strap them down tightly.
You can also have a friend or family member ride it home for you, provided you have adequate insurance during transport and a valid motorcycle license.

If you do not have a trailer hitch, get one. Very handy to be able rent a U-Haul trailer. With a motorcycle under 7′ long, their small 4’x7′ trailer ($ 15 a day). The biggest motorcycle will fit the 5’x9′ utility trailer with a ramp ($ 25 a day).

Best thing to do is ask someone you trust with a motorcycle license, any family members? If not I guess you have to get a ramp and ride it up into your truck, no one will care that you don’t have a license if you’re just riding it up 3 feet to your truck.
