How do i introduce a kitten to 3 older cats?

☮Kayareeyees☮: How do i introduce a kitten to 3 older cats?
we just found a new kitten and we want to introduce our kitten to the 3 other cats, one is a 2year old who is used to be the baby and we have two 3 year old [mom and dad of 2 year old] the boy [3] is intrested but the two females dont like him how do we get them to get used to eachother?? Tips please!

female cats are teratorial. you’ll notice they rub there faces all over stuff. their leaving their scent for other cats. so which means the females are letting the new kitten know this is my domain. but pretty soon the females will accept the kitten. it will just take a little time. i wish i had a new kitten !. good luck and have fun

some times you just have to set down the kitten and watch. it may not always sound like a good idea but it is. the cats can get to know each other and sniff each and all that stuff. you just have to keep an eye on them at first. you can never be sure so helps to be prepared to have to jump down and grab the kitten.

You should introduce them gradually and be patient. At the end of April, we brought a kitten into our home where we already had two other cats. It took about a week for our five year old to become friends with the new cat. Our older one (he’s 8) still doesn’t like the new guy, but they are able to live in the same house without any incidents other than a little bit of hissing if the new cat comes too close to the oldest one.
