thevision9: How do I film a simple stop motion video?
I’ve never done it myself, but I think I know the main ideas behind filming stopmotion. Should I film myself moving everything and just cut myself out, or should I record and pause repeatedly? What is the best way to do this technique?

I have a video camera that has this feature built in.
Read the manual for your video camera and see if there is that feature. Play with the video camera to get the best results.
Good luck
Answer by ur_soul_captiv8aUse a digital still camera. Then align the images using a time line with a non-linear editing program such as iMovie or Final Cut Pro. Each picture should be take up about 2-5 frames, and when you play it, it will simulate motion. That’s the way it’s usually done. Good luck!
PS- you’ll need to take a lot pictures… like 200 to 500 for something that just maybe only a minute long… if that….
Answer by .All you need is a video or still camera. If you have a video camera, then you move your object a little and take one sec. of film, then move your object again. If you have a still camera, then it’s the same. Move and take a pic. Repeat this prosess untill your movie is compleat. Have fun!
