Coleton S: How do followers of Islam show thier love and obedience for Allah ?

I’m doing a research paper for a communications class and we are supposed to do research on communication in various cultures. I chose to do research on how the followers of Islam communicate to Allah their obedience and love. I figured I would talk about rituals and the various ways they act to show their love and obedience. Any suggestions on what that might be ? Links to sites would be preferable, thanks 🙂

They do the ‘will of Allah’. And Allah wills that they spread his word around the planet until it is the dominant ‘message’ on earth. How they do this doesn’t really matter. They can jihad by non-violence, or when they can, by violence.

When they do so ‘peacefully’ they can spread Islam through deceit.

“In Islam, lying or omissions for the ‘greater good,’ according to a strict or radical Islam/Islamist philosophy is not only acceptable, it is holy and blessed work. It is called al-Takeyya (or al-Taqiyya) and is a strategy outlined in the Hadiths and supported by various interpretations of some of the Suras in the Koran. We have just seen it in action and most people never even caught the whiff of mental ether the Islamists were pouring into the airways of the already comatose and choking non-Islamist world.

Al-Takeyya is a policy whereby a Muslim may lie, deceive or omit critical truths if it promotes the spreading of Islam AND the conquest of the non-Muslim world. According to William P. Welty, Ph.D., al-Takeyya/Taqiyya is:

“The Islamic principle of lying for the sake of Allah. Falsehoods told to prevent denigration of Islam, to protect oneself, or to promote the cause of Islam are sanctioned by the Qur’an, including lying under penalty of perjury in testimony before the United States Congress, lying or making distorted statements to the media such as claiming that Islam is a religion of peace and deceiving fellow Muslims when the one lying has deemed them to be apostates.” (1)

And here is the definition from an Islam encyclopedia website:

“The word “al-Taqiyya” literally means: “Concealing or disguising one’s beliefs, convictions, ideas, feelings, opinions, and/or strategies…” (2)

It also appears in the Koran with al-lah deceiving people ‘causing them to believe’ something not true.

[4.157] And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure.

Another translation reads…
“And because of their saying (in boast), ‘We killed Messiah ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allaah,’ — but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it appeared so to them the resemblance of ‘Eesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man)], and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)]”

We show our love to Allah by loving His creations as we love ourselves. We show our obedience to Him by performing the acts of worship he has commanded us to do and that our Prophet taught us to do.

In contrast to all the misinformation about killing, the only violence allowed in Islam is for self-defense.

First of all we have the 5 Pillars of Islam = أركان الإسلام
What would be

1.The Shahada saying: La ilaha il Allah, muhammed rasullullah
wich means: There is no God but Allah, and Mohammed is his Messenger

2.Salat wich means Praying to allah in a ritual way 5 times a day

3.Zakat wich means alms giving

4.Sawm wich means Fasting on the month of Ramadan (wich is this month)

5.Hajj that means a muslim (if he is financially able to) must pilgramige 1 time in his life to saudia arabia to mekka the holy city to the kaaba

Muslims show there love to allah subhana wa taála in theese 5 ways!

I dont believe that 9/11 where Muslims! There are way to much things that speak for that! And even if so so what? Who cares, if it was a Christ a Msulim a Jew or a Buddhist? What happend happend and it was WRONG what happend and i am sure that those ppl who did that will not go to heaven… Even if they were Muslims!

The way Muslims show their love for Allah (God) is by following His ordainments.

The five most important ones are the five pillars:
1) Believing that there is only One God and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the final messenger.
2) Salah- Praying steadfastly five times a day (Before sunrise, afternoon, evening, after sunset, and at night)
3) Fasting during the month of Ramadan (which is going on now :]!)
4) Zakah- Giving charity to the poor
5) Hajj- the sacred pilgrimage to Makkah where most all your sins are forgiven.

Also, we Muslims show our love by following commands given to us in the Holy Qu’ran and by striving to learn more about our faith :]
