dosankocooking: How difficult is the SAT I compared to japanese exams?
A few months ago , I studied tremendously for the Japanese Scholarship exam and the math part was unimaginably beyond me. October and I’ll be taking the SAT I. How hard is the SAT I math compared to the japanese entrance exams anyway? Will 1-month of pure math-concentrated review be enough to get a high grade? I’ve been an above average at math since I came from a math-oriented high school with 12-15 hours of math every week.

It is on the easier side. When I first took the SAT, my score was low in the mid 1700s but then I got the sat guide from TutorFox: https://www.tutorfox.com/satguide.html and my score went up to 2190 (800 math, 760 writing, 630 reading). I highly recommend this guide for anyone wishing to get a higher SAT score.
