Inner Peace ♥: How come the euphoric “falling in love” feeling doesnt last for life?
In fact, its life span is 6 months to 3 years max.
Then reality sets in. And we long to feel “in” love again.

After almost 16 years together, I still have that “falling in love” feeling with my husband. Newer studies have shown that a percentage of couples continue to maintain it throughout their marriages/relationships and that those are the ones that have staying power.
I think it may be destined like that. It is difficult to ask the Nature.Answer by Hemant
I can’t believe that there could be a life span of falling in love as such…yes you can be over from the one you loved…but it doesn’t stick to life span..you can always discover new things and can do experimentation in your relationship. there can be only one person whom you can love the best…after that it will only 2nd best nd 3rd best.Answer by Sarah Joseph
thats because after that period of time ,you start seeing the real person behind the mask.In the beginning its because of those chemicals inside your head that give you this feeling that you wont be able to see the real person inside, but shortly you see it and if the person is not good you got to dump him/her and if he/she is really nice you keep them forever even if the initial euphoric feelings fade because there is true love and care and thats what is more important and real than those initial euphoric feelings, atleast according to me ,i dont know what others think .
