Everytime i try to go online, my sister comes and sits over my shoulder and nags me about what sites to visit. I can’t really say anything since it’s my other sister’s computer and i haven’t got enternet on my laptop yet. How can i tell her to jsut leave me alone for five minutes politely?

you sister just wants to spend time with you so do that and play on the computer with her for a little while and explain to her that after that time is up then it is your turn to do your thing or get her busy doing something else and you can slip on th pc

Put a game on and let her watch you. That’ll take the stress off and she might get bored and walk away. 🙂

Ask her if she wants to play dolls or a board game or watch tv with you. Tell her that you want to have fun and not just go to the sites she wants to go on.

Just ask her politely “can you please leave me alone for a bit?” and she’s with you b/c she wants to see what you are up too and i think she may also want to use the computer.

Your younger sister sits beside you for a couple of reasons. First, younger children always want to be older and she probably wishes she was you. You are older and can do more things than she can. She only wants to be just like you. Secondly, she is curious about the computer and what she can do on it. If she sits beside you, she can learn where to go and how to get there. She is young and curious. To get a few minutes alone on the computer make a compromise with her. Offer to let her go somewhere special on the computer if she will give you 5-10 minutes alone. Once you have your privacy for a few minutes, let her sit beside you and take the web to a sight that would definitely interest just her, for her.
