Marsha: How can we find out if a family was part of the mob or part of the witness protection program?
We had a family move into our neighborhood in 1980 from the East coast. The family is in the “trucking” business. There is no history of the family anywhere. Everyone think the dad was in the mafia. How can a family just appear out of nowhere?

Mind your own business. It is called moving when a family appears out of nowhere. I moved from Ohio to Colorado and appeared out of nowhere! Amazingly enough, I astonished other people when I appeared out of nowhere for a 2nd time when I moved to Georgia from Colorado.
We could tell you, but we’d have to kill you afterward. It’s just business, nothing personal.Answer by TK Starkiller
You can never know for sure if the family is a part of the program or not. The family could have moved because they found something such as work in the town, many family’s move like that into a new town to simply get away or move from their past.Answer by Maurice
Try doing some digging but if you discover that something is federally-protected, lay off.
