: What kind of criminal background would disqualify you from working in the insurance industry?
I have a criminal background and I just got a job where I work with a large insurance company and they want to fingerprint me. It will return with certain charges from my criminal history. Which charges, if any, would disqualify me from working with this insurance company?

That’s kind of a tricky question.
See, for the most part, any felony convictions will keep you from being able to get a LICENSE. However, if they’re going to try to be bonding you, any money-based convictions – even if they’re misdemeanors, are probably going to keep you from getting bonded.
Without knowing exactly the position you’ve been hired for, or exactly what the conviction is, it’s going to be impossible for anyone here to know.
