How severe a crime do you have to commit to get on death row?
I personally wouldn’t consider this a dumb question but I sure am getting plenty of dumb answers.
I understand that you have to murder, but is it just murder in the 1st degree? Or how about the 2nd degree? Do you have to murder multiple people? Or children, cops, etc?

I don’t think that you can be put on death row for anything less than murder.

You can only receive the death penalty for Treason (planning to overthrow the government), or from pleading non guilty after killing someone and they find out you did it.

Anyone who shoots at Obama, whether or not he lives or dies, will receive the death penalty.

Depending on the country it can vary. In Pakistan or Saudi Arabia a woman accused of infidelity against her husband can be sentenced to death.
I’m assuming that you were referring to America. There was certainly a time when one could be put to death for espionage or an act of treason, however, you will no longer see such a sentence handed down anymore. In fact, the death penalty doesn’t seem to be “dealt out” as frequently as it used to be. Certainly the murder of a police officer or a particularly heinous crime against humanity will still warrant the punishment of death.

This lists certain crimes that are eligible for the death penalty.
Of these, I would say the perjury charge.
You don’t have to kill anyone, or even be present at the time of death, but if you tell a lie that results in someone getting killed you could receive the death penalty.

I’d imagine it would be crapping in a judges bed………….if i were a judge i would give somebody the death penalty for farting near me let alone crapping on my bed 🙁
