I’m renting a beautiful home in a rural area of Oregon. To be safe about the prospective tenant, I would like to do a criminal check. How do I go about doing this?

I know the company ChoicePoint does a lot of employee background checks for the larger corporations which includes a criminal check. You might want to see if they offer any services for your situation.
hire a detective or go to a local police station and get them to check for criminal records
