How can I “skin” my phone with a design?

dan b: How can I “skin” my phone with a design?
My friends got there ipod touch “wrapped”. They had a friend draw up a design and essentially print it on a sicker and sick it to the phone. How can i do that? Does say a staples store sell adhesive paper?

Not sure the paper one are available any more, too many phones styles available. Plus the paper one do not last very long.
