How can I show my mom the difference between SD and HD?

Sir Fake Name: How can I show my mom the difference between SD and HD?
My mom hasn’t really seen HD before and I know if I show her she’ll just say it looks the same as on TV. So is there a video online that can help? Perhaps I can show her one clip in SD and the same in HD and it’ll make things more clear to her?

Take her to Best Buy or some other electronics store and she’ll notice the difference.

well if you go to some walmart, meijer, or any store that sell electronics really they will have 720p t.v.’s and 1080p t.v.’s if you really wana see the difference but because most cpu monitors dont have hd you probably wont get a real good look but you can check

Just go to Bestbuy they have tons of displays.
Simply ask the associate to switch the channel to standard def, then flip back. The difference is HUGE. When watching NFL/ or just sports in general, I sometimes flip back and forth from SD to HD just to say oh that’s right, that’s why I’m paying the extra 6 bucks a month, cause the picture is amazing.

Get a movie in VHS tape and one in DVD and play it on your tv.
