How can I “plaster” my bedroom ceiling OR whom can do the “work” for me?

In God We Trust: How can I “plaster” my bedroom ceiling OR whom can do the “work” for me?
The “ceiling” cracked and WATER dripped through it a short time ago. I have looked through the YELLOW PAGES, asked other people and looked through “advice columns,” but to no avail. Please, please help me with this most “serious matter.”

hello, sounds like you need to check out where the water came from first.then you will know what to do next.if there is no chance of water leaking again then you can repair the crack.there is a DVD at www.ucandrywall.com that will show you all you need to know on how to fix a repair or finish new sheet rock if you need to hang the ceiling.some times when theres been water damage you have to cut away the area and replace it with new rock.hope this helps.
