thoresby_house: How can I make friendship bracelets?
I want to make friendship bracelets with kids aged between three and seven and so they have to be really, really easy! I have access to loads of craft stuff, and would particularly like to stick fun stuff onto them like feathers (although ideas without this bit would be just as good!). Does anybody have any ways of make really, really easy bracelets?

I got two suggestion that I used when I worked as a teachers assist for a kindergarten back when I was in school. Easiest is to get some plastic beads and some string maybe a charm or have them make paper charms. The other for more creative or older kids is braiding yarn. A Bucket of beads and Elastic cord. String the beads on the elastic and knot the ends ;)))Answer by Jules
Large macaroni shells, painted if desired, strung on yarn.
Three – five yr olds should love that.
Five – seven yr olds could probably handle smaller stuff.

Answer by Brenda MI use pony beads with my kids at school. The fun thing about that is that you can have them create patterns. This gives them a little direction.
You can color macaroni or other noodles, but a little warning noodle necklaces usually end up with a few crushed noodles.
Fruit loop necklaces are fun too. You can also do patterns as well as eat the cereal.
Use embroidery floss and teach then how to braid. You can add beads into the braid as they go.
Just a few ideas for you.
