Vinteal: How can I make a cartoon using the computer?
I want to make a cartoon that appears 2D but is really 3D. Shows like this are Family Guy, Futurama, and Simpsons. I don’t think they draw these out by hand, so how do they make their cartoons? What programs?
*at the J0ker* If you watch the animation from Family Guy (newer episodes) much of it is done using the computer. Everything they draw now is 3d but I think they use a Gausian blur to make the images appear more 2d.

I’d like to point out there is more than one person working on each animation in all of those shows.
With no experience, I wish you extreme amounts of luck
For starting an animation career, I’d start with Adobe Flash and just use motion tweening
