What would happen if you used 300 instant film with a 600 film Polaroid camera?

Katen Theule: What would happen if you used 300 instant film with a 600 film Polaroid camera?
I found my old Barbie Polaroid camera, but I don’t have any film for it, and it takes 600 instant film. But that’s really really expensive, so I wanted to know what the difference between the two categories and if I could use 300 instant film(which is a lot cheaper) in my camera. Thanks!

The 300 instant film is rebranded Fuji Instax film and isn’t compatible with your Barbie Polaroid. The Impossible Project makes type 600 films and it might be worth taking a look at, but they are still expensive at about $ 20 or $ 22 per 8 exposures.
