Lizzy: What are some good “tragic love” movies where it shows the girl really loves the guy?
I know they tend make it where the girls are more obsessed, but I like to see ones where they do like selfless acts of love, like the “if you love them let them go” and you know, just other things too.
I know Angelina Jolie in Beyond Borders was kinda one

German nurse “Anna Mauth” (Felicitas Woll) falls in love with injured British pilot-in-hiding, “Robert Newman” (John Light). “Anna” is engaged to a loyalist German surgeon, but has strong feelings for the Briton. Should she report Robert to the authorities? to her family? to her fiance? Her loyalty towards Germany begin to strengthen. She allows Robert to sneak off. They become separated as the massive, historic firestorm explodes and roars through Dresden in February, 1945.
