buy yourself a ball and go outside
practice every day just running with it
and controlling it
after couple of days just try 2 get it in the air and 2 keep it 4 a while
this helped me a lot – hope u will learn soccer
for me i was like you i use to suck in soccer but now i am a bit better plus i some times Challenge people so what i did is:
-purchased a soccer ball usually for training
-brought some cloth for soccer so if i fell or any thing happens i don’t cut my normal cloth
-began to learn by shooting and passing
-if you are a goalie then buy gloves they really help you.

youtube can help alot, find a friend that knows soccer terms, and do this
1-warm-up▬one touches against a wall about three feet away–jogging less than a mile. Don’t want to get to tired.–juggling–pelays=
2-passing drills▬find a nice long wall and try to pass with yourself while dribbling down the side. about 6-8 feet away from the wall, pass the ball at an angle to the wall and recieve it back, take a few touches, then pass again… and so on.–more one touches. see how many you can get w/o messing up.–get with other peopleand do some passsing around and have a good time.
3-shooting drills▬line up as many balls as you can in front of a goal in front of about the 6 (little goal box) and shoot them, using proper technique every time.–practice shooting w/o running up to hit the ball.–then practice shooting up against a wall and when it comes back to you, no matter how much it’s in the air or how weird of an angle you get, one touch back to the wall, you should be about 10-20 ft away from the wall.
4-ball control▬dribbling in between cones, pulling a move (scissors, step over, cuts with inside and outside of the foot, pull back, and others you can think of),practice just doing them in a small space.–throw the ball a little in the air and try to trap it on the ground with the first or second bounce. the better you get, the higher you throw the ball.
5-exercise▬squats, leg lifts, sit-ups, push-ups, all the normal workout stuff. try running, and change your pace periodicaly when your running to build up your endurance. sprints are good but don’t rely on them to much and don’t push yourself to hard. and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS remember to stretch. strecth after you do your warm up drills because while you might make the team, you’ll be sitting on the bench with oulled, sore muscles. so strech strech strech! lol i can;t spell it, oh well.
I hope this helps!!!!
Answer by has49_831You need to practice and practice. the best way to get control is to play with some kids around 7-9 year of age so wen you trow the ball you wont heart them. The double cut is a good way to shake off an opponent that is closely jockeying you. This ought to give you a couple of second to pass or shoot the ball. You need hand on experience ensteded of classes.
