Megan 🙂: How can I get on to social networking sites and hotmail without getting blocked by security?
My Mum has blocked any sites to do with social networking and email and music. She’s also blocked anything that needs downloading, I can’t download anything. Is there any way I can get on to an IM chat site without getting blocked by K9 security? Are there any sites I can go on to that will ACTUALLY work? 10 points best answer.

Get a Linux distro on a USB flash drive. Boot the computer from it. Surf happily! Download stuff onto another USB flash drive.

Of, if your mum has been clever enough to prevent changing the computer’s boot order, get a Linux distro that will run within Windows. Then try to surf within the Linux distro running on Windows. It may work.

You should talk with your mother and see if at least some of these sites can be unblocked, even for specific times during the day. If you’re caught using other means to bypass her blocks, it will only cause her suspicions to grow, and she may cancel the internet entirely.

go to a proxy like,Ninjacloak.com(you can find many ones if you google).and go to any website through that.if you want to chat ,goto meebo.com from a proxy.it has yahoo,msn,hotmail etc….. .or boot from the safe mood and delete some KAV files so it won’t start ;).you can do it only if you have admin rights.if you don’t have,well.. it would be another topic
