Philosophical One: How to Limit Internet bandwidth and speed for other computers?
Basically, here’s the scenario.
My brother tends to run these vigorous programs, such as that of Utorrent, and hogs up the whole bandwidth in the house. When he does these kinds of activities, I am unable to navigate through the internet effectively; even as simple as checking my email!
There anyway to limit his internet speed? A method that he won’t know it’s actually going on.
Thanks!

try using SoftPerfect Bandwidth Manager but i think it works only if you have a pc as an internet server but i’m not really sure so it would be better for you to check their website first
It depends on the router you have. most newer wireless n routers have this function in the setup page: type your routers default ip address in the adress bar of your web browser and the default user name and password when prompted. you then can usually allocate bandwith however you desire by packet type or port or program or computer via the router setup page
