Clayton S: How can I connect my desktop computer to the internet wirelessly?
I have a wireless modem and a 5 year old dell desktop computer. I want to connect my computer to the internet with a wireless connection so I can avoid wires going across my hallway. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive and RELIABLE way to do this? I have a USB adapter that is supposed to connect me but it always loses connection. Thanks!

you need to buy a wireless card for your computer. This will work better then the usb type and a lot of times you can get the wireless cards at like walmart really cheap.
You can buy a PCI card that will do it, but it could still lose connection. The USB keys are supposed to be pretty bad though.Answer by gopistons!

I use 4 wireless network adapters. They are great. Never loses the connection, either.
